Your world. Your timeline.
Lead a decade of Nepal cinema, from 2027 through 2036. Every advance settles shows and finances.
15 Jan 2027
Day 15 of 3,653 · 1 Jan 2027 to 1 Jan 2037
Advances process each day individually, enforce national capacity, commit release budgets, and save the resulting world before confirming.
National operating rules
Generate a fictional film only when the current simulation week has no planned opening and active screens exist.
Save, resume & share
Saved worlds use the app's built-in key-value store. Your browser stores only the world ID, not the simulation data. There is no sign-in; treat world IDs as shared editing links.
Disconnects this browser from the current world. Its saved storage record is retained for anyone with the ID.
Simulation rule verification
Pure engine checks run independently of your world, including a full ten-year one-screen season.
- 180 screens → 600 shows; every screen receives 3 or 4 shows.
- 80 screens → 320 shows; paused screens receive none.
- A fifth same-date release is rejected.
- Ticket collections, studio split and opening costs reconcile.
- A full ten-year run retains 120 months and stops at 2037.
- Weekly release generation and bounded history pass.
How the simulation works
Demand & theatrical runs. Films run for 42 days. Audience appeal, weekend uplift (Friday and Saturday), deterministic daily variation and age-based demand decay determine ticket sales. Film priorities weight show allocation.
Finances & history. A modeled 13% levy is deducted before a 50/50 studio–exhibitor split. Production and marketing are charged at opening. Cinema operating costs are separate. These are game assumptions, not verified legal rules.
Fair scheduling. Every active screen gets a slot before any screen gets the next slot. Shows stop at min(600, active screens × 4). The allocation respects all capacities, even as cinema locations are paused or added.
Long-term storage. Monthly financial totals remain for the full season. Daily records keep 60 days and film detail 180 days; older film totals are archived. Generated weekly film titles are fictional, not real Nepal film listings.
